Why this update

JetCard gave you purpose to business aviation and an ecosystem full of complex and challenging decisions — aircraft ownership, trip generation, the rush of recruiting new pilots to fill seats in your fleet and help rack up Capital.
For the first two months since release we've heard your feedback — you want greater control over your companies, more marketing and branding opportunity to pitch why our rapidly growing userbase should fly for you, and increase realism and role play for different types of operators.

Well, the wait is almost over…
Feature 01 / Operator Identity

A real job listing for every operator.

Every operator now can create a full-screen detail page reachable from the Job Board. Custom bios, an 8-slot photo gallery, fleet listings, base map, headline stats, and a categorized breakdown of every trip type the operator will accept.

Pilots can read up on your company before they apply. Owners can present themselves like a real operator — branding, fleet philosophy, hiring policy, all in one place.

  • Editable bio with paragraph formatting (1,500-char cap)
  • Gallery uploads stored on JetCard servers — show off your brand on your page
  • Permissions surface: hiring status, default pay rate, undercut policy, AI ferry support, max ferry cap, custom livery availability
  • Categorized trip-type whitelist visible to applicants

Feature 02 / Specialty Operators

Fleet, bases, and specialty, at a glance.

Operators can now specialize in specific job types and bring greater intrigue to prospective pilots. The Detail page surfaces all the trip types an operator allows, allowing for Medical or Commercial only operators. Operators can also limit flying to higher paying jobs during the growth period to take advantage of higher charter rates.

Feature 03 / Job Board

Browse 500+ operators. Find the right one.

The Job Board has been rebuilt from the ground up. Old filters such as Partner VAs, Independent operators, or only those currently Hiring remain but now users can search for operators that have specific aircraft in their fleet - no more endlessly scrolling through drawers to find aircraft you want to fly. The new map lets you see where companies are based so you can station where you choose.

Job seeker facing branding joins our stats to show awareness to your organization — users can now scan hundreds of operators in a sitting and zero in on the ones that fit.

Feature 04 / Custom Customers

Define the clients your operator flies.

Owners can now seed their operator with up to 20 recurring customers — name, organization, role, home airports, and the trip types each one books. When a trip rolls out of one of those airports, there's a 25% chance a custom client shows up in the dossier instead of the procedural pool.

Build out a corporate client list. Bring on a sports franchise. Give your VA a CEO who actually flies with you every couple of weeks. The trips generator does the rest.

  • Pin clients to specific home airports — they only surface on trips touching those fields
  • Whitelist trip types per client (Awards Ceremony, Board Meeting, Charity Gala, anything from 50 categories)
  • Empty trip-type list = the client will fly any role from their home airports
  • Renders with principal + organization so pilots know exactly who they're flying with full briefing integration

Feature 05 / Multi-Client Trips

Trips that change clients mid-rotation.

The trip generator has been overhauled to be realistic. No more 6 leg trips of the same client traveling between houses (who has 6 houses anyways?). Trips now are length aware and a single multi-leg dossier can now span more than one client engagement — fly an executive to an arbitration hearing, deadhead to another field, pick up a different organization for an awards ceremony.

Each engagement gets its own narrative voice, its own passenger manifest, its own briefing. The empty legs in between are real positioning flights, not filler, and the clients cover the cost better now too. The 4-step narrative engine rebuild ties every leg into a continuous story.

Trip preview: empty leg into Lyon, then Arcade Music Group awards ceremony tour through Athens, London, Stockholm Trip preview: Whitlam Greenwood arbitration hearing leg, empty leg, then Paramount Ventures awards ceremony Trip preview: three sequential client engagements through Bentonville, St Eustatius, Fredericksburg, North Kingstown, Huntsville, Toluca

Feature 06 / HR Mail

A real inbox on the jPhone.

Mail is the newest app in the jPhone, sitting alongside Messages, Calls, and Dispatch. Every employment event now generates a formatted HR letter: welcome aboard, promotion to Chief Pilot, demotion, termination with stated reason, broadcast announcement from leadership.

Owners and operator management can now send e-mail outreach to their entire pilot base to communicate critical information without the need for a secondary website or discord.

  • Lifecycle emails: hire, reject, promote, demote, fire (with reason)
  • Operator-wide broadcasts from the HR panel
  • Notification ding + per-pilot dismiss
  • Audit trail of every personnel change tied to the pilot's account

Feature 07 / Capital Injection

Pilots that put real cash behind your operation.

Any pilot can now reinvest from their own balance directly into an operator they fly for. They get an Investor badge, a record of every contribution, and an automatic refund if the operator ever fires them. Lets VA leadership raise capital from within the roster to scale fleets faster than charter revenue alone would allow.

Real money, real risk, real reward — the operator can use it immediately to buy aircraft, open bases, or weather a slow stretch.

Feature 08 / Co-Owner Role

A second seat at the top table.

A new permission tier between Owner and Chief Pilot. Co-Owners get full management access — hire, fire, set pay rates, manage bases, edit the operator profile, acquire aircraft from the owner's account — but the founding pilot stays the sole financial signatory. Built for VAs running shared leadership and partner operators with co-founders.

Also in 1.1.0

Five quieter changes worth knowing about.

Password-Enabled Applications
Set a private code (8–16 chars) in your HR panel that lets vetted pilots auto-join the moment they enter it. Outsiders still apply through the standard review queue.
Preferred FBO Chain
Pin your operator to Signature, Atlantic, Million Air, Jet Aviation, or any other major chain. Pilots see your preferred FBO prioritized at applicable airports that have your preferred FBO at that location.
Custom Livery Sharing
Host your MSFS or X-Plane livery file URL on your operator profile so applicants and employees can install your colors and help rep your brand.
Trip Type Whitelist
Restrict your operator to only the categories of work you want to run. The Specialty badge on the Job Board derives from your selections — Unrestricted in green, Mixed dim, or a single category in gold.
3LD, Callsign & Name Renaming
Change your operator's three-letter designator, telephony callsign, or full name with cooldown timers so you can rebrand without moderator action.
