Overview
JetCard is a flight simulation platform. This Privacy Policy describes how JetCard ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit flyjetcard.io or use the JetCard application.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a hashed credential). When you purchase a license, we receive a record of the transaction from Stripe — we never see or store your card number. As you use the application, we store your gameplay data: pilot profile, charter history, flight statistics, aircraft, operator information, and similar in-game state. If you opt to link third-party services such as SimBrief or Navigraph, we store the authentication tokens or usernames needed to interact with them on your behalf. We also collect standard technical data (browser, IP, approximate location) via analytics on the website.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform and your account, process license purchases, deliver gameplay features (including in-app messaging, live position tracking, and leaderboards), send transactional emails such as license delivery and password resets, respond to support requests, and improve the platform. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Live Map & Multiplayer Features
When you are on an active flight, your in-sim position, altitude, and heading are broadcast to JetCard's Live Map so other pilots can see you in the shared world. Only your public pilot name is associated with the position; your email and personal details are never broadcast. You can disable position broadcasting at any time within the application.
Payment Processing
License payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores payment information directly under their own privacy practices and security standards. JetCard does not see, handle, or store card numbers, CVCs, or banking details. Refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details on their handling of payment data.
Third-Party Integrations
JetCard integrates with optional third-party services including SimBrief, Navigraph, ElevenLabs, and the simulators themselves. When you link an account or use a feature that calls one of these services, we transmit only the data required for that feature to function. Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle the data they receive. You may unlink third-party services at any time within the application.
Data Storage & Security
Account, license, and gameplay data are stored securely via Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant infrastructure provider. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data in transit and access controls on backend systems. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your license is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we will process the request within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligation to retain certain records (for example, transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes).
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA.
Cookies
This site uses session cookies necessary for basic functionality such as keeping you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics, where used, are anonymised and aggregated.
Children's Privacy
JetCard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active license holders. Continued use of the site or application following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
